Who am I?
My name is Linda (Odineca) Calabria and I am a marketing professional. I began this blog as an unemployed MBA graduate. I wanted to share my experience with unemployment with others while also sharing the tools I was using to find permanent employment. 16 months later I was happy to be part of the employed once again. I have chosen to continue writing this blog as a way to continue sharing my knowledge, and anecdotes, about every day work life, social media, and of course finding employment. I hope you enjoy my advice and I look forward to your comments!

Curious…. do you have experience?
Hello Oana,
I have previously worked as a product marketing specialist, managing everything from design to costing and creating collateral, and most recently I was working as an international marketing coordinator and created a portal and newsletters for international licensees in 30 different countries.
Is there an opening I should look at?
Thank you for the comment Oana.
Linda
Hi Linda,
I’m working on a new senior inbound, Product marketing role. Not sure what your status is, but I wanted to bring it to your attention. I know Hubspot is great, but this role has great potential for growth.
Some of our past successes that you probably know include Bladelogic, Equalogic, ATG, Endeca, Brontes Speechworks, ERoom, and Maven Networks (This is a small subset, we have worked with 100s of successful startups)
The position is for a Boston based, digital publishing startup (www.zmags.com). Zmags is by far the largest self-service ICM provider, with over 150 million pages created to date. Adoption of the Zmags platform quadrupled in 2008, with visits to customers’ Zmag publications surging from 50,000 to 200,000 each day.
They are looking for an individual well versed in the latest digital marketing techniques and trends. A brand ambassador, both consumer and media facing. A definite growth role.
Any time for a chat?

Hi Linda,
I’m the editor of CareerBuilder. Email me with your questions. We do tend to get a lot of requests but even if I can’t answer all your questions all the time, I can usually point you to an article or post that can help.
Kate

Hi Linda,
Love your blog!
My name is Kerry Walker and I am a stay-at-home mom living in NJ with my husband and three sons, ages 7, 5 and 2. In 2008, my middle son was diagnosed with autism. It was then that I realized her plan to return to a professional career in a few years was no longer a possibility. I needed to do something utilizing my skills, while being available to support my son throughout his life. As such, I decided to launch my career as The Resume Artisan. My website is http://www.theresumeartisan.com
I will be holding a free resume writing workshop at the Camden Free Library in Camden, NJ later this month. Thought you might want to share that information with your readers, in case any live in this area.
All the best to you!
Kerry
Hi Kerry,
I will definitely share this information tomorrow! Good luck at the workshop, I wish I could attend.
Linda
Hi Kerry,
I drafted up a blog entry for Monday/Tuesday that will share the information about your resume writing seminar. I will publish it on one of those days…look for it then!
Linda
Thanks!
